An early call time for a seminar in Makati City got me worried if I can make it on time given the traffic situation in EDSA.
To solve this dilemma I thought of booking a budget hotel near the venue so I can take my time and be presentably present. No sweat from the hassle of commuting.
I started looking online and found a good deal in RedDoorz Premium near Greenbelt Makati.
RedDoorz is a budget hotel chain with branches in Singapore, Indonesia and Philippines. They have more than 35 hotels across Manila and I’ll say most of it are located in prime locations. The cost of rooms depends on every hotel location.

The room I planned to book cost Php 1500 if I book it through their official website but the frustrating thing was I have tried 3 cards and none got accepted! The error was the cards not being 3D secured. (I hope your card works).
Anyway, I tried booking through Agoda instead and was billed Php 1900 due to the added transaction fee from Agoda.
Tip: You can book straight through their website or mobile app for discounted deals, they usually have promo codes available.

The receptionist just asked for the reservation print out and identification card. No need for security deposit.

- shampoo and soap are in fixed containers in the bathroom

For me its okay. As long as it’s clean, safe and comfortable then I’m sold. I just stayed overnight and spent most of my time outside anyway.
You book this hotel for its location. It’s right across Greenbelt! All the other reviews will tell the same thing. Great location. But overall I’ll rate it GOOD.
